Fashion against Aids! Back in April, when my cousin still was here, she was so thrilled to see H&M's new Fashion against Aids! collection. That's why I took her to one of the rare stores which were selling the limited collection on its launching day (April 26, 2012). Since I'm not a big fan of H&M's quality (hate me or not, but my whole H&M stuff is (almost) unwearable after the laundry...), I only decided to buy the Fashion against Aids! top, which is pretty cool because the front side is shorter than the back side and I just love it (and I love the price! I only paid 4, 95€!). ![]() H&M for Fashion against Aids! One of my friends was reading the Gossip Girl book series back then and she really recommend the books. And as I was in the library to look for new books to read I found the first book of Gossip Girl in the shelf and decided to borrow it. I didn't read it at first, I threw it in a corner where it was for about two months (and I was only allowed to borrow them for three months!). However, then I somehow got to know what Gossip Girl tv series was going to air in Germany soon and I finally began reading. I finished the book in one day and was so overwhelmed by this glamorous world. My addiction grew slowly. At that time Season 2 of Gossip Girl was almost finished and I watched every single episode and enjoyed every single minute. Simultaneously I was reading the Gossip Girl book series (books 1 - 11 and prequel). I was so freaking addicted at that time and I still kind of am. Gossip Girl was the first tv series I really watched. I'm so sad that the upcoming sixth season will be its end, and I hope it's going to have a good end with my ships to be endgame! My favourite season is Season 3 because of Nate & Serena. However, I think Gossip Girl had its best time in Season 1 - 3 and I loved the storyline of Season 1! Season 4 and 5 have been okay so far, but I didn't love it. I love the books, every single book. My favourite book is #11, because it was basically about Nate and Serena and their forbidden love. And of course I loved the prequel, because "it" happened and they were so happy, having no problems and just having fun and being best friends. The books series with Blair, Serena and Nate ended years ago, now the tv show is ending as well. I know this isn't a big deal or something, but my tv series addiction and love grew because of Gossip Girl and I'm so thankful for this. Without Gossip Girl I would have not watched One Tree Hill or Skins, I would have never fallen into tv series. ![]() written by Tini on 12 May 2012, 18:51 · 0 Comments First outfit of the day This is a world premiere because I'm posting my very first outfit of the day! However, I also want to emphasise that I'm (still) not a fashionista and my style still has to improve. So far my style is really cozy and comfy and sporty and a little bit bohemian. I only post outfits the way I really wear them and the most important thing about my outfit are their comfortableness. Moreover I am not a proud owner of a single-lens reflex camera, that's why my photos are taken with a webcam or my sucking digital camera... haha, I'm so sorry! ![]() Abercrombie & Fitch T-shirt H&M Cardigan No Name American flag scarf Levi's Shorts Primark Tights written by Tini on 10 May 2012, 10:29 · 1 Comments Cream the ice cream! I haven't told you yet, but I have to confess something: Ice cream is one of my guilty pleasures. I really mean it by saying, that I love testing new ice creams if they look delicious. I'm normally that type of girl who sticks to her habits (referring to an O.C. scene here where Caitlin and Marissa talk about their ice cream habits). One month ago me and my mother went to the grocery store where I found Oreo ice cream (original name is: Ice cream with Oreo biscuit pieces). I already posted this Oreo ice cream once before (here) but I'm going to review it now. The fact I like most about this ice cream are the Oreo biscuit pieces. I really don't know which flavour the actual ice cream has but these biscuit pieces make this ice cream tastes so much more delicious! It's really fun to eat a spoon and then to feel something unlikely for ice cream in your mouth. I also like the fact that they didn't save on using biscuit pieces, these ice cream is FULL of it! I think the only disadvantage might be the size (185 ml/ 87g) and the price (I think I paid 3€ without discount). However, there is another option to get Oreo ice cream: You can do it yourself (DIY)! I found several recipes on the Internet, so if you're interested in making your own Oreo ice cream, just browse through the internet. ![]() written by Tini on 09 May 2012, 19:21 · 0 Comments You always miss something that you left behind. You guys probably remember my blog when I first started blogging. It was on August 08, 2008 and a lot of time has passed since then. Back then I was blogging a lot, and I was telling the world a lot about my feelings, my thoughts and my entire personal life. I somehow learnt about the danger and started to be more anonymous, being less me and being more someone else. I started to change my blog entries in late 2009 I guess, but I actually don't know it. My blog changed slowly, so there is not an exact date that I can state. I'm satisfied and happy about how my little world has turned out, but sometimes I still miss the old blog. When I browse through my archives I rarely see posts that are about me. And I don't want to miss this. I really don't want to go to old habits, but I want to show you more parts of my life. This will include (rare) posts about my feelings and thoughts and I will try (emphasising try here!) to post more photos of myself and probably trying to post more outfit posts! I already thought about changing the language back to German, but I love the English language and this blog's my only opportunity to be more English than German. ![]() written by Tini on 08 May 2012, 18:59 · 0 Comments Content Management Powered by UTF-8 CuteNews |
