You know you love me

If you guys have been following my blog since the very beginning, you probably know that I'm a big fan of Gossip Girl since early 2009. One of my friends was reading the Gossip Girl book series back then and she really recommend the books. And as I was in the library to look for new books to read I found the first book of Gossip Girl in the shelf and decided to borrow it. I didn't read it at first, I threw it in a corner where it was for about two months (and I was only allowed to borrow them for three months!). However, then I somehow got to know what Gossip Girl tv series was going to air in Germany soon and I finally began reading. I finished the book in one day and was so overwhelmed by this glamorous world. My addiction grew slowly. At that time Season 2 of Gossip Girl was almost finished and I watched every single episode and enjoyed every single minute. Simultaneously I was reading the Gossip Girl book series (books 1 - 11 and prequel). I was so freaking addicted at that time and I still kind of am.

Gossip Girl was the first tv series I really watched. I'm so sad that the upcoming sixth season will be its end, and I hope it's going to have a good end with my ships to be endgame! My favourite season is Season 3 because of Nate & Serena. However, I think Gossip Girl had its best time in Season 1 - 3 and I loved the storyline of Season 1! Season 4 and 5 have been okay so far, but I didn't love it.
I love the books, every single book. My favourite book is #11, because it was basically about Nate and Serena and their forbidden love. And of course I loved the prequel, because "it" happened and they were so happy, having no problems and just having fun and being best friends.
The books series with Blair, Serena and Nate ended years ago, now the tv show is ending as well. I know this isn't a big deal or something, but my tv series addiction and love grew because of Gossip Girl and I'm so thankful for this. Without Gossip Girl I would have not watched One Tree Hill or Skins, I would have never fallen into tv series.

Cream the ice cream!

I haven't told you yet, but I have to confess something: Ice cream is one of my guilty pleasures. I really mean it by saying, that I love testing new ice creams if they look delicious. I'm normally that type of girl who sticks to her habits (referring to an O.C. scene here where Caitlin and Marissa talk about their ice cream habits).

One month ago me and my mother went to the grocery store where I found Oreo ice cream (original name is: Ice cream with Oreo biscuit pieces). I already posted this Oreo ice cream once before (here) but I'm going to review it now.

The fact I like most about this ice cream are the Oreo biscuit pieces. I really don't know which flavour the actual ice cream has but these biscuit pieces make this ice cream tastes so much more delicious! It's really fun to eat a spoon and then to feel something unlikely for ice cream in your mouth. I also like the fact that they didn't save on using biscuit pieces, these ice cream is FULL of it! I think the only disadvantage might be the size (185 ml/ 87g) and the price (I think I paid 3€ without discount).
However, there is another option to get Oreo ice cream: You can do it yourself (DIY)! I found several recipes on the Internet, so if you're interested in making your own Oreo ice cream, just browse through the internet.

The Lucky One

Time passed since I went to the movie theatre to watch a movie for the last time. I'm the kind of person who only goes to watch movies if I really know that the movie is going to be really good. I don't like experiencing new movies without even knowing what they're about. Moreover I'm that kind of person who has fallen into love and romantic movies. I'm just dying to watch them.

The Lucky One based on Nicholas Sparks book hit theaters last Thursday here in Germany. It's not a big secret that I adore every single Nicholas Sparks book that's why I just had to watch the movie. I saw the movie with the acknowledge of what will happen but I still could enjoy the entire movie.

The movie is about a soldier, Login Thibault, who is fighting for America in a war, when he suddenly finds a picture of a young woman. After that he gets in many dangerous situations but still survives. He promised himself to thank this woman for "saving" his life. As the war ends and Logan returns home to his sister, he doesn't find piece and decides to start looking for this mysterious woman. He walks through the entire US by feet to find her and finally he finds her in a small town. Her name is Beth and she and her grandma own a dog run. Moreover she is divorced to Keith and has a eight-year-old boy named Ben. Logan can't tell her the truth why he's here that's why he applies for a job at the dog run. He slowly gets to know Beth, Ben and her grandma (and unfortunately also Keith) and falls in love with her. In the beginning Beth struggles with her feelings but her grandma motivates her to trust into her feelings and give their love a try.

That's basically the story line, but I won't tell you what's going to happen next. It's a really great movie based on an amazing book and I really recommend this movie to everyone who loves Nicholas Sparks and romantic movies. Logan is pictured by Zac Efron and he did an amazing job! You can watch the movie trailer below.
